Classroom Rules, Consequences, and Rewards

Rules

  • Raise hand to speak.

  • Follow directions the first time they are given.

  • Respect and treat others as you wish to be treated.

  • Keep feet, hands, and negative comments to self.

  • Be responsible for all work when it is due.

Consequences

  • Verbal Warning

  • Silent Lunch

  • Loss of playtime (10, 20, then 30 minutes)

  • Note/Phone Call to Parents

  • Visit to Principal’s Office

Rewards

Individual

  •         Homework Pass/Extra Credit Pass (10 points)

    • Name on BINGO poster-every Friday, I will draw 5 BINGO coordinates and the students with their name in that square will receive a prize!

    • Extra Computer Time

    • Extra Play Time

Whole Class

  • Link on paperclip chain-when it reaches the whiteboard tray, students are rewarded with a movie and popcorn.
  • Free time
  • Extra playtime as a class
